Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that Wojciech Szczesny will be the starting goalkeeper for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Inter Milan and next weekend’s Clasico against Real Madrid. Szczesny did
not play in Barca’s win at Real Valladolid on Saturday, handing Marc-Andre ter Stegen his first start since a lengthy knee injury.
However, Flick has confirmed the Polish goalkeeper will be back in goal for the upcoming two games.
“Szczesny will play on Tuesday against Inter and Real Madrid,” Flick said.
He also praised his team’s comeback win. “I am satisfied. It was more difficult than we thought, but the target was to get the three points. I have no disappointments.
