Andrea Cambiaso is set to report for Italy duty as usual despite reportedly undergoing tests on his injury at Juventus on Monday morning.

Cambiaso was force off in Juventus’ 3-0 Serie A defeat at Fiorentina on Sunday with what is believe to be an ankle injury that saw him come off in the 86th minute, having come on as a substitute in the 59th minute.

Allowing him to travel to report to the Italian national team under coach Luciano Spalletti as usual.
Cambiaso has seen arriving at JMedical for further testing on Monday. But according to reports from multiple outlets, the tests have not uncover any major causes for concern, which means that Cambiaso is still able to join up with the Italy national team squad ahead of the Nations League quarter-finals against Germany coming up over the next week.
Cambiaso’s expected to earn game time during the international break as he is one of the only natural right wing-backs in Luciano Spalletti’s squad. The Azzurri also have Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Matteo Politano at heir disposal, but Raoul Bellanova was not call up for the March international break.
Italy are prepare to play Germany in the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals. With the first leg at San Siro on March 20 and the second at Signal Iduna Park three days later.
