Caicedo claims Chelsea are missing key attacking players

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo believes the absence of key attacking players is no excuse for Sunday’s 1-0 Premier League defeat at Arsenal.

Chelsea were without the injured Cole Palmer, while Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke were also out due to problems, and their trip to the Emirates ended in a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.

“They are very important for us, they score a สมัคร UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีสำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ Caicedo claims Chelsea are missing key attacking playerslot of goals. Now they are not playing, but we still have players. We have Neto who plays up front, we have Enzo and everyone who works hard to win.

Caicedo feels Chelsea dominated Arsenal’s game but lacked goalscoring

“It was a really tough game in the first 20 minutes. They were better than us. It’s disappointing because we felt we had control after that. We were better than them, but we had to score to win.”

“Every game for me is a fight, no matter if it’s a derby or not.”

“We showed good character, that’s why we did well,” the Ecuadorian midfielder said.

The constant excuse given for the bad results and performances we see regularly from this group is that they are young. We’re glad to hear from Caicedo that manager Enzo Maresca isn’t taking that:

“Sometimes the manager has said that it doesn’t matter the age. We are men. Believing on the pitch, showing our character and our work rate will for sure help us win games.”

They may be young in years, but players like Caicedo already have a load of Premier League appearances to their name. They’re simply have to do better. They won’t reach the Champions League if they don’t, and missing out on that after having been second at Christmas would be real failure.
